General Labor - Seasonal

About the role

Entry‑level, seasonal position at Nestlé USA, responsible for operating departmental equipment in the production and packaging of food products. The role works 12‑hour shifts, six days a week for a temporary assignment of 2‑4 months.

Key responsibilities

• Meet or exceed designated efficiency and productivity rates while ensuring product quality.
• Document start times, temperatures, and other production data accurately.
• Rotate through all positions on the assigned line and lift up to 50 lb.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems, perform basic repairs, and record adjustments.
• Assist other employees and departments, and cross‑train on additional line equipment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (preferred); two or more years of prior production equipment operation experience preferred.
• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts, weekends, holidays, and potentially nights in indoor and outdoor environments.
• Willingness to work in a seasonal environment for 2‑4 months.

Required skills

• Operating production equipment and forklift (if needed).
• Basic equipment troubleshooting and repair.
• Reading and interpreting safety rules, operation manuals, and procedure documents.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to write routine reports.
