General Anesthesiologist (MD) – Full‑time

About the role

Ochsner Health in the New Orleans region is seeking BC/BE General Anesthesiologists to join its expanding MD Primary model of care. Physicians will have the opportunity to perform up to 75% of cases solo while collaborating with residents and CRNAs for the remaining cases. Both new graduates and experienced anesthesiologists are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for complex surgical procedures in a tertiary‑care referral center, primarily working solo.
• Collaborate with residents and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) on shared cases and educational activities.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Ability to care for complex patients and manage challenging surgical cases.
