Garment Developer – Fit & Technical Design

About the role

Levi Strauss & Co. is seeking a Garment Developer to lead seasonal fit development from concept through production, turning design vision into commercially viable, high‑quality garments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead seasonal style and fit development aligned with design direction.
• Create detailed tech packs with construction sketches and graded measurements.
• Apply fabric, construction, and manufacturing knowledge to deliver cost‑effective, high‑quality products.
• Partner with fit and garment developers to ensure approved fit blocks are used across styles.
• Guide fit block development by establishing body measurements, evaluating prototypes, and incorporating consumer insights.
• Lead fittings, communicate feedback to teams and vendors, and manage go‑to‑market calendar timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent patternmaking training.
• 5+ years of experience in fit development, technical design, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience across men’s and women’s apparel, including woven bottoms, jackets, tops, and knits.
• Proven ability to interpret design intent and guide pattern and construction corrections with vendors.
• Strong collaboration skills with global partners and experience managing product development timelines.

What we offer

• Base salary $92,000‑$135,000 per year.
