Full‑Time Staff Pharmacist

About the role

Join CVS Health as a Staff Pharmacist and help shape a more connected, convenient, and compassionate health experience for individuals, families, and communities. You will work in a retail pharmacy setting, supporting the Pharmacy Manager and ensuring safe, accurate medication dispensing and patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizations.
• Act as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts, coaching team members and providing performance feedback.
• Assume day‑to‑day duties as the primary pharmacist‑on‑duty when needed.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures and safety guardrails to ensure accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Deliver compassionate patient experiences, resolve insurance or medication issues, and collaborate with the broader healthcare team.
• Offer and administer immunizations, supporting technicians in learning to immunize.
• Oversee inventory management, with special attention to cold‑chain products.

Required profile

• Ability to follow direction from the Pharmacy Manager and act independently when required.
• Strong focus on patient safety, empathy, and genuine care.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
