Full-Time Teller – Hyannis Downtown

About the role

As a Teller at Santander’s Hyannis Downtown branch, you will be the first point of contact for customers, delivering fast, accurate and friendly banking services. This full‑time position offers the chance to develop a career in retail banking while supporting the community’s financial needs.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer inquiries and process deposits, withdrawals, transfers and other transactions.
• Handle cash accurately, maintain the cash drawer balance and follow all security procedures.
• Identify and refer customers to appropriate bank products, cross‑selling to deepen relationships.
• Use digital tools to promote self‑service options and educate customers.
• Assist with audits, custodial duties and other operational tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and support nearby branches when required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months cash‑handling experience.
• At least 6 months customer‑service experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Willingness to work branch hours, including evenings and weekends.

Required skills

• Computer proficiency.
