About the role

Santander is seeking a Full Time Teller to join its Bensalem branch. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, process financial transactions, and help protect the bank from fraud while promoting its product offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers, minimize wait times, and assist with banking needs.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and maintain accurate cash drawer balances.
• Adhere to all bank policies, compliance, and risk‑management procedures.
• Identify cross‑sell opportunities and refer appropriate bank products.
• Educate customers on digital self‑service tools.
• Assist with custodial duties, audits, and other operational tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area to create a welcoming environment.
• Support nearby branch locations when business needs require.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months cash‑handling experience.
• At least 6 months customer‑service experience.
• Excellent customer‑service skills and a passion for helping others.
• Ability to identify and escalate risk concerns.
• Strong listening and communication abilities.
• Comfortable using digital tools to enhance customer engagement.
• Energetic, organized, and able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Basic computer proficiency and math skills.
• Willingness to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
