Full-Time Student Navigator

About the role

The Full-Time Student Navigator works within the Student Engagement division of Atlanta Technical College to help students stay on track with their programs. Reporting to the Director of Student Success and Special Initiatives, the Navigator coordinates support services, monitors academic progress, and designs interventions for at‑risk learners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop collaborative relationships with cross‑functional teams to deliver advisement, academic progress reviews, and innovative retention programs.
• Provide information on targeted career and educational pathways and coordinate supportive services that promote persistence.
• Monitor attendance, performance, and academic alerts; conduct outreach and follow‑up.
• Collect, analyze, and report retention data using Target X, Banner, KMS and other systems to identify obstacles.
• Design and implement targeted intervention initiatives, and train faculty and staff on retention processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• Minimum two years of directly related experience in a college setting.
• Ability to work at multiple campus locations and undergo background screening.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Target X, Salesforce, Banner LMS, and KMS.
• Data analysis and data‑visualization capabilities.
• Strong computer and job‑related software operation skills.
