Full-Time Registered Nurse – Palliative Care Clinic

About the role

The Palliative Care Clinic at Kingman Healthcare seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care in a fast‑paced outpatient environment. The RN will work under the direction of providers, ensuring compliance with the Arizona State Nurse Practice Act and KHI policies while delivering compassionate patient service.

Key responsibilities

• Triages patients by phone or in person, receives and implements telephone physician orders.
• Escorts patients to exam rooms, records vital signs, history, and reason for visit.
• Performs CLIA‑waived laboratory tests, specimen collection, and proficiency testing.
• May perform venipuncture and administer immunizations.
• Coordinates patient care with providers and staff, acting as primary liaison.
• Handles data entry, billing, charge fees, and payment collection.
• Schedules and confirms appointments, maintains exam room supplies and medication inventory.
• Reports to public health authorities as directed by the provider.

Required profile

• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma graduate.
• Current, valid Arizona RN license (or compact state license).
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• 1–2 years experience as an RN in an outpatient clinical setting.

Required skills
