About the role

The Operating Room Circulator RN provides direct patient care in the surgical suite, working under the direction of physicians and in compliance with the Arizona State Nurse Practice Act. This full‑time, weekend‑focused position emphasizes compassionate, evidence‑based nursing while supporting the hospital’s vision of high‑quality, kind care.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver evidence‑based nursing care throughout the peri‑operative period, following the nursing process from assessment to evaluation.
• Coordinate patient care, ensure compliance with safety standards, and promote patient satisfaction.
• Assist with orientation of new staff and act as a clinical lead for nursing personnel on the unit.

Required profile

• Associate Degree in Nursing (or Nursing Diploma) and a current Arizona RN license (or compact state license).
• Current BLS certification; ability to obtain ACLS and PALS certifications within required time frames.
• Minimum five years of RN experience, including at least one year in acute care, surgical services, or related specialties.

Required skills

• Basic EKG competency.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
