Full-Time Night Registered Nurse – ER/CDU with $25K Sign-On Bonus

About the role

The Registered Nurse will work under the direction of a physician to deliver compassionate, high‑quality nursing care on the ER/CDU night shift. The role involves utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while adhering to Arizona nursing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide evidence‑based nursing care to prevent healthcare‑acquired conditions and readmissions.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including biophysical, psychosocial and discharge planning needs.
• Develop, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care plans in coordination with the care team.
• Maintain compliance with standard precautions, infection control and documentation standards.

Required profile

• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma.
• Current Arizona RN license (or compact state license) and BLS certification.
• Minimum five years of nursing experience for full‑time night shift positions.
• Ability to obtain unit‑specific certifications (e.g., Basic EKG, ACLS, PALS) within required timeframes.

Required skills

• Basic electrocardiogram (EKG) competency.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and de‑escalation techniques.
