Full-Time Medical-Surgical RN – Days Shift with $15K Sign-On

About the role

The Medical‑Surgical Registered Nurse works under the direction of physicians and the Arizona State Nurse Practice Act to deliver compassionate, evidence‑based care. The RN utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs while supporting KHI’s vision of kindness and high quality.

Key responsibilities

• Provide evidence‑based care to prevent healthcare‑acquired conditions and readmissions.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and collect health data from patients, families, and providers.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on nursing diagnoses and standards of care.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans as needed.
• Coordinate nursing personnel, ensure compliance with the nursing process, and promote patient satisfaction.

Required profile

• Associate Degree in Nursing or a Nursing Diploma.
• Current, valid Arizona RN license (or compact state license) and BLS certification.
• Basic EKG competency to be achieved within three months of hire.
