About the role

The Athletic Trainer will plan, organize and conduct the athletic trainer program under physician direction, maintaining injury logs and supporting prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation for athletes.

Key responsibilities

Prepares age‑ and prognosis‑appropriate prevention, treatment and rehabilitation under physician supervision.
Provides on‑field immediate care for injuries and recommends physician or therapy follow‑up.
Maintains injury logs per contractual agreement and documents according to policy.
Ensures state license and certification are current and assists in day‑to‑day operations.
Adapts communication and behavior to respect patient privacy and individual needs.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulations and accreditation standards.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in athletic training (Master’s preferred).
Current Athletic Trainer license in the state of practice and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Board Certification of the BOC preferred.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
