About the role

Ochsner LSU Health System Shreveport and LSU Health Sciences Center – Monroe are seeking a General Surgical Pathologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. This full‑time academic position combines clinical service, advanced diagnostics, and teaching responsibilities within a collaborative health‑care environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain excellence in specimen preparation and diagnostic accuracy.
• Provide high‑quality consultative services to clinical colleagues across the institution.
• Support and incorporate advanced diagnostic techniques to improve patient care.
• Participate in service duties and deliver teaching to medical students and residents.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
• Eligible for Louisiana medical licensure.
• Academic rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.
• Demonstrated leadership and teaching experience.

Required skills
