Full Stack Engineer – Marketplaces

About the role

Pastel is building a modern marketplace for antiques, vintage treasures, and collectible art. We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer who can design and deliver production‑grade web applications that power our AI‑enhanced buying and selling experience.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain full‑stack product features across frontend and backend systems.
• Develop responsive, modern user interfaces using React.js.
• Contribute to hybrid mobile and web applications using React Native and Capacitor.
• Design and develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services and third‑party platforms.
• Write clean, reusable, production‑ready code following engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high‑quality features.
• Debug production issues, optimise performance, and improve system reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and influence architectural decisions.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in React.js and solid backend development experience.
• Ability to work confidently across the full stack, from concept to production.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional product, design, and engineering teams.
