Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Drishticon is seeking a hands‑on Full Stack Engineer to work remotely for a San Francisco‑based start‑up that builds AI software for venture‑capital due‑diligence. The role is a 40‑hour‑per‑week contract with required overlap with US PST working hours.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end product features across backend and frontend.
• Develop Python APIs, data workflows, and document‑processing systems.
• Build and refine the UI using TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Create LLM‑driven and agentic workflows, including retrieval, tool use, evaluation, and observability.
• Leverage AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and ChatGPT while ensuring code quality.
• Handle deployment, debugging, testing, and basic application monitoring.
• Maintain clear technical documentation and keep the codebase maintainable.
• Work independently, communicate progress regularly, and raise blockers early.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated ability.
• Strong Python backend development skills.
• Experience with TypeScript and React; Next.js preferred.
• Proven ability to build APIs, work with databases, and ship complete product features.
• Practical experience building production LLM‑powered applications or agentic workflows.
• Track record of taking features from requirements through implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Comfortable in an early‑stage environment with changing requirements and high autonomy.
