Front Desk Supervisor (Seasonal)

About the role

We are looking for a seasonal Full‑Time Front Desk Supervisor to lead the front desk team at the Bar Harbor Inn and Spa in Bar Harbor, Maine. You will support the Front Office Manager in delivering smooth check‑in and check‑out experiences and ensure every guest feels welcomed.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily front desk operations, including room assignments and special requests.
• Lead, mentor and train front desk staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
• Collaborate with other departments to maintain high guest satisfaction.
• Assist the Front Office Manager with scheduling, performance evaluations and administrative tasks.
• Maintain an organized and welcoming front desk area.

Required profile

• Previous hospitality or front desk experience is preferred.
• Proven track record in team leadership is a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent bending and lifting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
