Front Desk Receptionist – Adult Education (Work‑Study)

About the role

This work‑study position supports the Adult Education program at the Marietta Campus. As the front desk receptionist you will be the first point of contact for students and visitors, providing courteous service and assisting with intake processes.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
• Greet walk‑in customers, address their questions, and guide them to the right resources.
• Assist Adult Education staff with student intake paperwork and related administrative tasks.
• Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal communication and phone etiquette.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse population.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and multitasking capability.
• Enrollment as a Chattahoochee Technical College student in good academic standing, meeting FAFSA and financial‑need criteria.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.

What we offer
