Freelance Project Manager – Medical Communications

About the role

Lockwood is seeking a Freelance Project Manager to lead medical communications projects from concept through delivery. The role is fully remote and supports clients in pharma, biotech, and medical device sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and interface with all internal departments.
• Develop and manage project budgets, track financial performance, and reconcile expenses.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, faculty, and external suppliers.
• Schedule and lead start‑up, interim, and final meetings, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
• Provide regular updates to internal teams and client contacts.
• Contribute to new business development within the account team.
