Freelance CRO Specialist – Conversion & Experimentation

About the role

Dolead is building its Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) function and seeks a freelance specialist to improve landing pages and lead‑capture journeys at scale. The role is fully remote, English‑speaking, and requires regular overlap with European working hours.

Key responsibilities

• Scale proven conversion concepts across more clients, verticals and geographies.
• Identify funnel leaks, turn observations into measurable hypotheses, and design experiments.
• Define, launch and monitor A/B tests using internal tools in collaboration with design, tech and paid media teams.
• Prioritise experiments with Looker and funnel data to maximise impact on traffic and qualified leads.
• Assess results against conversion rates and lead quality, ensuring CVR gains do not harm lead quality.
• Own experiments end‑to‑end, coordinating teams, managing blockers and driving tests to conclusion.
• Document outcomes and share learnings to enrich the CRO playbook.

Required profile

• 3+ years hands‑on experience in CRO, experimentation, growth or digital marketing.
• Proven ability to design, run and analyse A/B tests, including both successes and failures.
• Comfort with funnel data, conversion metrics, sample size, confidence levels and test duration.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple experiments in parallel.
• Ability to evaluate downstream lead quality beyond form completion.
• Experience with BI/reporting tools such as Looker, Google Workspace (especially Sheets) and project‑management tools like ClickUp.
• Curiosity about consumer behaviour and the full marketing funnel.
• Highly autonomous, structured and fluent in English.
