Freelance Akan Transcriptionist (Remote)

About the role

Perle, an AI infrastructure company, is looking for a freelance transcriptionist fluent in Akan to work remotely. You will transcribe two‑speaker, channel‑separated audio recordings, delivering clean, sequential transcripts with speaker labels and timestamps.

Key responsibilities

• Listen to 2‑speaker Akan audio files with separate channels.
• Type out each speaker’s dialogue accurately and in full.
• Label each turn as Speaker 1 or Speaker 2, matching the audio channel.
• Insert timestamps (HH:MM:SS) at the start of every speaker turn.
• Maintain a daily output of at least 4 hours of transcription.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native fluency in spoken and written Akan.
• Strong written Akan skills, including correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
• Reliable computer and stable internet connection.
• Ability to work independently and meet daily targets.
• Availability for a minimum of 4 hours per day.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Akan language transcription.
