About the role

Petra Security is scaling rapidly after achieving product‑market fit in the cybersecurity space. We need a scrappy, quantitative generalist to own the operational backbone, working directly with the founders to build finance, legal, compliance and IT foundations.

Key responsibilities

• Own financial modeling and forecasting, maintain runway and burn metrics.
• Develop and track KPIs, lead quarterly planning and goal follow‑up.
• Partner with accounting for monthly close, revenue recognition and audit readiness.
• Manage legal operations, contracts and entity documentation.
• Support compliance workstreams such as SOC 2 and jurisdictional obligations.
• Oversee IT and security operations including device procurement, access management and vendor tooling.
• Build scalable systems, playbooks and processes to reduce reliance on tribal knowledge.
• Shape dedicated functions as the company grows.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in a quantitative, analytical role (e.g., PE firm, investment bank).
• Strong fluency with financial statements, forecasting and building models from scratch.
• Ability to work quickly with high accuracy and comfort with ambiguity.
• Interest in owning cross‑functional operational responsibilities.
