Founding Design Engineer

About the role

As a Founding Design Engineer you will work directly with the CEO, CTO, and customers to create intuitive user interfaces for Dryft's AI agents. Your mission is to turn complex industrial data and decision logic into transparent, high‑trust experiences that enable users to act quickly and confidently.

Key responsibilities

• Design and ship production‑ready UI features end‑to‑end.
• Collaborate with customers to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
• Develop both frontend and backend components as needed.
• Translate dense industrial data into clear, actionable visualizations.
• Maintain a high standard of design quality and attention to detail.

Required profile

• Engineer turned designer, designer turned engineer, or a hybrid who values easy‑to‑use interfaces.
• Proven track record of shipping production features.
• Strong product sense and enjoyment of direct customer interaction.
• Obsessive about design quality and detail.
• Willingness to work onsite in San Francisco (relocation and visa support provided).
