About the role

Sea12 Technologies partners with leading public and private companies to solve tough challenges in manufacturing, logistics, and construction. As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer you will work directly on factory floors and dispatch rooms, turning cutting‑edge AI research into tangible physical impact.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers on‑site to integrate AI solutions into operational workflows.
  • Automate customer communications for freight brokerage clients using large language models.
  • Support cruise line crews in modernising fleet operations aboard ships.

Required profile

  • Passionate about the impact of AI in traditionally overlooked industries such as manufacturing and logistics.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex ideas simply.
  • Ability to identify high‑value problems among many possibilities.
  • Focus on designing and iterating strong feedback loops with customers, prioritising adoption over ego.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and witness technical deployments firsthand.
