Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role

SalesPatriot is building an AI‑native platform that automates defense, aerospace and industrial supply‑chain operations. As a Forward Deployed Engineer you will embed yourself in customer sites across the US, understand their workflows and configure the platform to become their operating system.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations (e.g., Wisconsin, New York, Miami, Los Angeles) and work onsite to map current sales and supply‑chain processes.
• Identify bottlenecks and growth‑limiting breakpoints within the client’s operations.
• Configure and deploy automations using SalesPatriot Studio to reflect the customer’s specific needs.
• Iterate continuously, own the customer outcome and drive organization‑wide scaling until the platform is fully adopted.

Required profile

• Willingness to relocate to San Francisco full‑time and work onsite (no remote option).
• Comfortable with ambiguity, rapid change and a fast‑paced, hyper‑growth environment.
• Proven track record of shipping fast, full‑stack solutions and earning trust across technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Low ego, curiosity and outcome‑focused mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Experience with at least one modern frontend library such as React, Svelte or Next.js.
• Knowledge of SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
