Forward Deployed Engineer – Client‑Facing AI Role

About the role

We are looking for a mid‑level Forward Deployed Engineer to work closely with our clients, rapidly prototype AI solutions and transition them into production. The role sits embedded within the client’s environment, collaborating with both ISHIR delivery teams and client engineering or business groups.

Key responsibilities

• Embed directly with client stakeholders to understand workflows, data, and constraints.
• Rapidly prototype AI/agentic solutions and iterate based on real usage.
• Own the handoff from proof‑of‑concept to production‑grade deployment.
• Bridge ISHIR delivery teams and client engineering/business teams.
• Troubleshoot integration issues across client APIs, data sources, and infrastructure in real time.
• Feed field learnings back into ISHIR’s reusable accelerators and playbook.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of engineering experience, including 1–2 years in a client‑embedded or startup‑style role.
• Prior exposure to GovTech, healthcare, or real‑estate/PropTech domains.

Required skills

• Full‑stack development with React, TypeScript, Node or Python/Laravel.
• Experience with large‑language‑model APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or AWS Bedrock.
• Familiarity with agent frameworks.
• Cloud deployment experience on AWS Serverless or Azure.
