Floating Service Technician

About the role

The Floating Service Technician is responsible for maintaining the physical condition of Greystar’s residential properties in Las Vegas. This full‑time position ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Conduct preventative maintenance throughout the property to reduce future breakdowns.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, coordinating vendors and contractors, and ensuring units are ready for new occupants.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used and time spent on each task.
• Collaborate with the property management team to prioritize maintenance needs and uphold the overall appearance of the community.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in building systems is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, maintenance manuals and building codes.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills for interacting with residents and vendors.
