Floating Service Technician – Aurora

About the role

This position performs technical and mechanical work to ensure that buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and overall functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects, performing repairs, and complying with safety codes.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Maintain grounds and common areas through trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning, and painting as required.
• Inspect contractor work to verify quality, scope, and compliance with specifications.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete OSHA training, and report incidents promptly.

Required profile

• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and respond to on‑call duties.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, climb ladders, lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance), and work in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart when needed.
• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling, and any state‑required certifications.

Required skills
