Floating Community Manager – Property Management

About the role

The Floating Community Manager oversees daily operations of an assigned apartment community, leading staff and ensuring financial and operational goals are met while complying with company policies and housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the property budget, analyze financial statements, and monitor revenue performance.
• Collect rent, process invoices, approve vendor payments, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Supervise leasing activities, approve applications, enforce lease terms, conduct inspections, and handle evictions and fee collections.
• Implement marketing and leasing strategies based on market trends to achieve occupancy targets.
• Ensure resident satisfaction by addressing complaints, service requests, and maintaining property standards.
• Hire, train, and evaluate property staff, including maintenance specialists.
• Maintain owner relationships through regular updates, property tours, and performance reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Real Estate or related field (preferred).
• 4‑6 years of property management, sales, marketing, and customer service experience.
• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and customer service abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite).
• Competence in internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on‑site.
