Fitness Trainer

About the role

Planet Fitness is seeking a motivated Fitness Trainer to lead its group fitness program (PE@PF). The trainer will help members achieve their goals by designing simple workout plans, teaching proper equipment use, and creating an engaging class environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and deliver PE@PF group fitness classes.
• Consult with members to set fitness goals and demonstrate safe equipment usage.
• Develop creative promotions to increase class sign‑ups and produce bi‑weekly exercise updates.
• Assist at the front desk: answer phones, check‑in members, handle new member sign‑ups, give tours, and update member information.
• Maintain club cleanliness and appearance.

Required profile

• Honest, punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication, organizational and customer‑service skills.
• Passion for health and fitness.
• Completed fitness trainer certification.
