Financial Project Analyst

About the role

The Finance Project Analyst will provide accurate financial information to support OTECH’s project portfolio. The role requires close collaboration with internal and external customers, prioritising tasks in a fast‑paced environment. It is based in Hanover, MD and may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Support proposal development by analysing RFPs, creating work breakdown structures, estimating fees and producing cost volumes.
• Prepare and analyse internal revenue forecasts for monthly, quarterly and year‑end estimates.
• Lead project controls reporting, including weekly actuals, hours summaries, ETC/EAC development and variance analysis.
• Assist month‑end close by providing forecast vs. actual variances and journal entries.
• Support cash‑flow collections through review of accounts receivable and unbilled items.
• Assist with SOX compliance testing, external regulatory reporting and invoice processing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance.
• 3–8 years of relevant experience with knowledge of POC, CPFF and T&M contracts.
• Understanding of cost accounting, Sarbanes‑Oxley, US GAAP and government contract terminology.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.

• Salary range $69,100 – $103,700 per year.
