Financial Controller – Manufacturing & Distribution

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Permanent Financial Controller to lead our Accounting and Finance function. The role will support a fast‑growing manufacturing and distribution business, driving financial strategy, compliance and growth initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting practices, including budgeting, financial reporting, tax and audit functions.
• Develop financial strategy, planning and forecasts in partnership with the President, COO and CFO.
• Manage investment, cash management and banking relationships.
• Analyze financial data, recommend system improvements and drive performance.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations and coordinate external audits.
• Lead M&A activities, providing due diligence and integration support.
• Participate in senior‑management policy development and manage investor relations.
• Identify and mitigate business risks and insurance requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years in a senior finance or accounting role.
• MBA or equivalent graduate qualification.
• Proven experience in manufacturing and distribution.
• Strong knowledge of private‑equity, M&A and corporate finance.
• Excellent leadership, communication and strategic planning abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
