Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and strategic Financial Controller to lead and strengthen our accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls and compliance. The role will ensure accurate, timely GAAP‑compliant financial statements and partner closely with FP&A, Operations and external auditors as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, delivering GAAP‑compliant financial statements.
• Prepare and review income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements and supporting schedules.
• Design, implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets.
• Coordinate external audits and act as primary liaison with auditors.
• Lead, mentor and develop the accounting team, establishing clear roles and performance expectations.
• Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes for efficiency and scalability.
• Partner with FP&A to align actuals, forecasts and budgets, and support strategic initiatives such as product launches and M&A activity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; active CPA/CA required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role.
• Deep knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting and internal‑control frameworks.
• Proven experience owning month‑end close and preparing GAAP‑compliant statements.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing high‑performing accounting teams.
