About the role

The Financial Aid Advisor II supports East Texas A&M University students by processing financial aid in compliance with Title IV, state, and university policies. Working under direction, the advisor contributes to a high‑service environment that emphasizes student advocacy and financial literacy.

Key responsibilities

• Process federal and state financial aid awards while ensuring adherence to Title IV regulations.
• Review federal and state publications to recommend improvements to financial aid processes.
• Assist in developing and updating financial aid operating forms to increase efficiency.
• Collect data and prepare cost analyses related to financial aid operations.
• Provide high‑quality customer service to students, addressing inquiries and guiding them through financial aid procedures.

Required profile
