Financial Accountant

About the role

Reporting to the Payroll & Benefits Supervisor, the Financial Accountant will support month‑end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, payroll and benefits processing, compliance, indirect tax and special projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform balance‑sheet account analysis and reconciliations.
• Prepare payroll, benefits and other journal entries.
• Provide accounting support and reconciliations for intercompany, fixed assets, capex, right‑of‑use assets, property tax and heavy‑equipment tax.
• Input financial data into BPC and validate sales‑tax exemption certificates in OneSource.
• Review accrued use tax and prepare correction upload files.
• Assist with internal and external audits and maintain SOX‑compliant documentation.
• Participate in special projects as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (master’s degree a plus).
• Minimum 4 years of recent relevant experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication across all organizational levels.
