Finance Product Control Vice President

About the role

The Finance Product Control Vice President in Corporate Investment Banking (CIB) leads large‑scale projects and accounting processes, providing expert guidance to business lines and ensuring regulatory compliance across the finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor major projects or process implementations within Finance.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise on accounting policies, interpret changes and communicate impact to stakeholders.
• Direct accounting teams in reviewing financial information, reporting and disclosures.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls.
• Research and analyze new products, systems and best practices, presenting findings to senior finance leadership.
• Develop more efficient procedures while maintaining high accuracy.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to implement and standardize new accounting requirements.
• Advise senior management on best practices and support department goals.
• Coach and delegate work to junior professionals and represent the organization on key accounting initiatives.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in finance and accounting within a banking environment.
• Proven ability to lead large projects and drive process improvements.
• Strong analytical and communication skills to convey policy impacts.
• Capability to work collaboratively with multiple business lines and senior leaders.
• Experience coaching and developing junior team members.
