Finance GBS Analyst

About the role

The GBS Analyst will perform accounting and financial reporting activities within Invesco’s Regional Shared Services Center. You will be responsible for expense accounting across North America, Europe and APAC, preparing reports and supporting compliance with internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accurate financial reporting within established deadlines.
• Prepare and complete general‑ledger reconciliations, focusing on liability and receivable accounts.
• Perform account and variance analyses, identify root causes and document corrective actions.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close activities and reporting.
• Prepare ad‑hoc analyses, reports and special projects as assigned.
• Identify and assist in implementing process improvements, automation and standardisation.
• Support internal and external audit requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting in a corporate environment.
• Candidacy for CPA certification is preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle Financials.
• Experience supporting month‑end close, account reconciliations or financial reporting.
