Field Specialist – Valves Sales

About the role

Reliable Safety and Flow Corporation is seeking a Field Specialist to drive valve sales across the Midwest and Northeast Indiana markets. The role focuses on mechanical/industrial customers, building relationships with contractors, engineers and distributors while meeting sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Generate demand by demonstrating valve solutions and achieving sales quotas.
• Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, distributors, engineers and other industry stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the distribution‑facing sales team to close deals and place additional products.
• Identify new contractor and project prospects to expand the sales pipeline.
• Act as the front‑line champion for new product rollouts and provide market feedback.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated, positive attitude and strong team player.
• Excellent communicator with a professional image.
• Proven problem‑solver who remains level‑headed under pressure.
• Minimum five years of outside sales experience, preferably in the PVF industry.
• Willingness to travel up to 75 % of the time.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Experience using Tableau for sales analytics.
• Knowledge of Dodge reporting tools.
• Familiarity with Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) tools.

What we offer

• Competitive base salary ranging from $110,000 to $125,000 per year.
• Commission structure on top of base salary.
