Field Service Professional – Smart Home Technician

About the role

This position blends technical expertise with sales opportunity, installing cutting‑edge smart‑home technology while proactively recommending upgrades that give customers peace of mind.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks and home automation systems in residential properties.
• Assess customers’ homes on‑site and recommend upgrades or additional services, generating sales opportunities.
• Educate homeowners on the operation of their new smart‑home equipment to ensure safety and satisfaction.

Required profile

• Customer‑first attitude with strong integrity and the ability to build rapport.
• Sales mindset – experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance or service‑based sales is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and ability to pass background checks.

Required skills

• Installation of security cameras.
• Installation of smart locks.
• Setup and troubleshooting of home automation systems.
