Field Service Professional – Smart Home Tech (San Jose)

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home’s field team in San Jose, installing cutting‑edge smart home technology while identifying sales opportunities. You will be the face of the brand, ensuring customers enjoy safer, more connected homes.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems in customers' homes.
• Evaluate homes on‑site and recommend equipment upgrades or service enhancements, generating sales.
• Educate homeowners on system operation to ensure safety and satisfaction.

Required profile

• Customer‑first attitude with strong communication and integrity.
• Sales mindset; experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service sales is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass background checks.

Required skills

• Installation and troubleshooting of security cameras.
• Installation and configuration of smart locks.
• Setup and maintenance of home automation systems.
