Field Service Professional – Smart Home Tech

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home as a Field Service Professional, installing cutting‑edge smart home technology and helping customers protect and automate their homes.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Assess customer homes on‑site, recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements.
• Educate homeowners on system operation to ensure confidence and safety.
• Participate in ongoing coaching and leadership training to advance within the national organization.

Required profile

• Sales mindset – experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance or service‑based sales is a plus.
• Customer‑first attitude with integrity and strong rapport‑building skills.
• Technical aptitude – background in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to pass background and licensing checks.
