Field Service Manager – GPHE

About the role

Alfa Laval is looking for a Field Service Manager – GPHE to lead a team of service engineers and drive operational excellence. You will act as a bridge between sales and technicians, shaping service offerings and supporting business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Field Service Engineers with a strong customer‑oriented mindset.
• Maintain a robust QHSE culture and ensure compliance with contract and claim management processes.
• Collaborate with Sales to create service offerings, generate leads and capture aftermarket opportunities.
• Supervise project financial performance, managing gross profit, revenue and identifying risks.
• Support market regain strategies and act as the connector between sales and technicians.
• Oversee competence development, employee reviews and skills‑matrix updates.
• Manage performance issues and ensure effective people management, including for remote teams.
• Equip the team with the right tools, resources and travel support (50%+ travel required).

Required profile

• Post‑high‑school technical education or an Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of field technical or technical/commercial sales experience.
• Deep knowledge of Alfa Laval branded products or GPHE.
• Experience in sales collaboration and data analysis to identify service opportunities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
• Willingness to travel 50% or more, including to remote areas.

• Alfa Laval GPHE product knowledge.
• Solid computer and digital competence.
