Field Service Engineer – Houston, TX

About the role

Allow your passion for improving lives to shine in this role where you’ll be responsible for customer relationship management through the effective use of technical knowledge to install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain equipment at customer sites.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to entitlements, setting expectations, and meeting arrival times.
• Perform installations, preventative maintenance, service work orders, expense reports, and related documentation in compliance with Philips, state, and federal regulations.
• Diagnose and resolve electronic, network, and mechanical problems, including completing PMs, FCOs, and installations.
• Travel across the specified geography, with average driving time of 1‑4 hours daily and occasional overnight stays.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in x‑ray, image‑guided therapy, or MRI service environment (field or hospital‑based).
• Associate Degree in electronics or equivalent; BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on‑call rotations.
• US work authorization and residence within commuting distance to Houston.

Required skills

• Understanding and application of electronic, mechanical, and networking theory.
• Use of diagnostic and test equipment for equipment repair.
• Safe handling of radiation sources and use of personal protective equipment.
