Field Service Engineer – Atlanta, GA

About the role

Join Philips as a Field Service Engineer in Atlanta, GA, where you will use your technical expertise to install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment at customer sites. You will build strong customer relationships, ensure service entitlements are met, and contribute to service revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to entitlements, setting clear expectations, and meeting arrival commitments.
• Understand customers’ business environments and generate service revenue.
• Participate in regional team initiatives, improve processes, and identify training gaps.
• Perform administrative duties such as timesheets, work orders, expense reports, and documentation in compliance with Philips, state, and federal regulations.
• Utilize tools, support resources, and escalation processes to resolve electronic, mechanical, and networking issues promptly.
• Complete preventive maintenance, field change orders, installations, and related tasks.
• Travel across the assigned geography, with average daily driving of 1‑4 hours and occasional overnight stays.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in a diagnostic imaging service environment or 4+ years in the electromechanical industry.
• Associate Degree in electronics or equivalent; BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on‑call rotations.
• Willingness to work safely with radiation sources and wear required personal protective equipment.
