Field Sales Representative – Tampa, FL

About the role

The Field Sales Representative owns and delivers sales for the Tampa, FL territory, building relationships with store managers and retail personnel to meet short- and long-term performance objectives. The role focuses on overall value of retail (VOR) including sales, displays, new items and core distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Sell incremental volume for displays and secure support for promoted products.
• Conduct promotional surveys for displays and identify additional product opportunities.
• Collaborate with store‑level and district‑level retail operations to create and execute business reviews that drive volume.
• Manage financial resources responsibly and ensure pricing compliance at the retail level.
• Report competitive price changes, resolve pricing issues, and maintain share‑of‑shelf.
• Identify and correct out‑of‑stock situations, ensure new items are available, and merchandise products to meet schematic compliance.
• Build and maintain relationships with department/store personnel to maximize sales results.
• Communicate market insights from the retail level to management.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Psychology or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of retail sales, merchandising or retail management experience with CPG products preferred.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, attention to detail, and strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and travel as needed.
