Field Sales Representative – Alexandria, VA

About the role

Join Nestlé USA as a Field Sales Representative responsible for driving sales across the Alexandria, VA territory. You will build relationships with store managers and retail staff to deliver incremental volume, ensure product availability, and support promotional initiatives for Nestlé’s portfolio of consumer‑goods brands.

Key responsibilities

• Sell incremental volume for displays, promotional surveys, and additional products based on observed opportunities.
• Collaborate with store‑level and district‑level retail personnel to create and execute business reviews that drive volume.
• Maintain compliance with pricing guidelines, report competitive price changes, and resolve pricing issues.
• Identify and correct out‑of‑stock situations, ensure new items are available, and manage shelf merchandising.
• Communicate market insights from the retail level to management.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Psychology or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of retail sales, merchandising or retail management experience with CPG products preferred.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing and willingness to travel within a 50‑mile radius of Alexandria.
• Strong communication, selling and analytical abilities with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
