Field Reimbursement Manager – Oncology (St Paul, MN)

About the role

The Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) for Oncology will serve the St. Paul, MN territory, supporting academic centers, community hospitals and oncology clinics. This field‑based position focuses on helping healthcare providers and their staff navigate reimbursement, access and adherence challenges for J&J oncology therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on reimbursement processes, claims submission, coding requirements and payer policies.
• Collaborate with sales representatives, key account managers and managed‑care colleagues to resolve access barriers and ensure timely patient treatment.
• Conduct on‑site support (up to 50% of time), assess education needs and provide creative problem‑solving aligned with FRM Rules of Engagement.
• Maintain territory logistics, routing and account planning while building trust‑based relationships with customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (healthcare, business or public administration preferred); advanced degree (MBA, MPH) is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in account management, reimbursement or managed‑care roles within provider offices.
• Demonstrated expertise with pharmacy and medical benefit design, coding, prior authorizations, appeals and buy‑and‑bill processes.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills; ability to influence across a matrix organization.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce.com CRM.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• In‑depth knowledge of medication access channels, coding and reimbursement policies.
