Field Director, Dermatology – Central

About the role

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines is seeking a Field Director for Dermatology to lead a regional Medical Science Liaison (MSL) team across the Central United States. The role focuses on scientific, clinical, and educational support for healthcare professionals while driving strategic execution of medical affairs programs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach a regional Dermatology MSL team, providing performance feedback, development planning, and field observation.
• Partner with the MSL Head to translate medical affairs strategy into regional priorities, measurable objectives, and executional excellence.
• Oversee execution of field medical affairs programs, including product launches, proactive initiatives, and HCP engagement.
• Ensure collection, analysis, and communication of high‑quality medical insights to inform evidence generation and lifecycle planning.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading medical affairs or MSL teams in a therapeutic area, preferably dermatology.
• Strong ability to use data, insights, and AI tools to guide strategic decision‑making.
• Demonstrated capability to coach, develop talent, and foster an inclusive, high‑performing team culture.
