Field Clinical Specialist – Shockwave Medical

About the role

The Field Clinical Specialist supports physicians in peripheral and coronary interventional procedures using Shockwave Medical's Intravascular Lithotripsy technology. The role spans pre‑market and post‑market phases and includes clinical study support across Colorado and Wyoming.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site case support and training for physicians and hospital staff during interventional procedures.
• Manage clinical study activities, including investigator relationships, data collection, and timely database locks.
• Coordinate travel, budgets, and administrative tasks related to territory coverage.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, nursing or business field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience supporting interventional or surgical procedures in a hospital setting, or 1 year in industry sales support.
• Strong understanding of clinical research, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory compliance.

Required skills
