Federal Solutions Architect – Remote

About the role

Mind Computing is looking for an experienced Principal Solutions Architect to drive federal growth initiatives, primarily for the Department of Veterans Affairs and other federal health agencies. This remote position focuses on designing scalable, secure, and differentiated enterprise solutions across cloud, data, AI, and healthcare interoperability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine proposal‑ready technical narratives for RFIs, RFPs, and task orders, translating complex federal requirements into clear, evaluator‑focused responses.
• Design enterprise architectures covering application modernization, cloud migration, data integration, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, and AI/Generative AI.
• Partner with growth, capture, delivery, engineering, pricing, and executive teams to craft winning technical solutions and strategies.
• Lead solutioning sessions, proposal reviews, oral presentations, and customer discussions, ensuring compliance and differentiation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 10+ years of enterprise IT experience and 5+ years in solution or enterprise architecture.
• Significant experience supporting the VA or other federal healthcare programs, including knowledge of VistA, CDW, My HealtheVet, and Federal EHR systems.
• Proven ability to write persuasive technical proposals and present complex architectures to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
