Fashion Closet Assistant

About the role

The Fashion Closet Assistant supports Condé Nast’s Global Fashion Network by managing the day‑to‑day operations of the fashion closet in New York. Working closely with editors, stylists and brand representatives, the role ensures that samples, trunks and accessories are organized, shipped and returned efficiently for editorial shoots.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed sample check‑ins, record inventory and maintain accurate logs.
• Pack trunks promptly, label shipments and coordinate courier services for timely deliveries.
• Schedule messengers, manage carnets and oversee returns, including priority and jewelry transfers.
• Collaborate with fashion assistants, stylists and the jewelry team on set and during fittings.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for fashion brand PR representatives, providing clear and professional communication.
• Maintain overall organization and efficiency of the fashion closet, ensuring a smooth workflow for ready‑to‑wear, accessories and jewelry categories.
